The innovative solution was developed by The Corner Fridge Company to answer the problems caused by rotting garbage, and with currently over 9 million households now having their waste bins emptied only once every two weeks, this is a problem that is going to grow.
The BinRefrigerator uses refrigeration technology to store waste at 5°C., the temperature necessary to eliminate the build up of most harmful bacteria, and is very easy to use. An empty wheelie bin is wheeled into the cabinet and then accessed for waste disposal via a hinged lid in the top of the BinRefrigerator.
The BinRefrigerator’s cabinet is designed with the outdoor environment in mind and constructed from stainless steel – offering a much more attractive proposition than most standard wheelie bins.
The efficient, low-energy cooling system is simple to operate and requires only to be connected to a 13amp outside power supply. The unit is designed to work in all weather conditions and will maintain temperature levels inside the BinRefrigerator’s cabinet even if the temperature outside soars to over 40°C.
Available in sizes to house one two or three wheelie bins, the BinRefrigerator is suitable for all household types – including apartments where individual flats can have their own section in an extra-large BinRefrigerator.
